About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at Searchability. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients' employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance and support to clients' employees on various HSE matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support HSE Management Systems: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective HSE management systems, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Conduct Internal Audits: Conduct thorough internal audits of HSE management systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Deliver Health and Safety Inductions: Develop and deliver comprehensive health and safety inductions to new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Participate in HSE Meetings: Collaborate with clients in HSE meetings, working groups, and steering committees to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and ensure effective communication.
  • Lead HSE Investigations: Participate in or lead HSE investigations as needed, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Manage HSE Training: Coordinate with clients to manage HSE training requirements and platforms, ensuring employees receive necessary training to perform their jobs safely.
  • Coordinate with HR: Collaborate with HR to ensure occupational health, display screen equipment assessments, and other necessary adjustments are implemented.
  • Support EcoOnline Reviews: Assist clients in reviewing and ensuring accurate input of employee and environmental data into EcoOnline systems.
  • Support External Audits: Collaborate with clients to plan and execute external audits, including ISO 45001, 45003, and 14001 management standards.
  • Manage HSE Documents: Ensure proper management and storage of HSE-related documents and artifacts for accessibility by stakeholders.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH HSE Certificate: Hold a NEBOSH HSE certificate or be working towards obtaining one.
  • Functional HSE Management Systems: Demonstrate proficiency in functional HSE management systems, including tools and resources for decision support.
  • Statutory Tools and Resources: Familiarity with statutory tools and resources, such as HSE and Environment Agency websites.
  • Competency and Advice: Strong understanding of competency and when to provide advice to clients' employees.
Security Clearance

The successful applicant must be eligible for or hold active SC Security Clearance.
