About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality food that exceeds our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new menu concepts that meet the evolving tastes and dietary needs of our clients.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional food service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our clients' needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Culinary Qualifications: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent in culinary arts.
  • Leadership Experience: Have experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of leading a team and achieving results.
  • Food Safety Certification: Hold a Food Hygiene certificate and be familiar with all relevant food safety regulations.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
