Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forensic Healthcare Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic healthcare, with a minimum of 3-4 years experience post-registration. They will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, providing care and treatment, and managing patients in police custody suites.

We are looking for an individual who is able to work autonomously, as part of a multidisciplinary team, and has excellent communication and documentation skills. The successful candidate will also have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines, including the Mental Health Act and the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

This role requires full police vetting, so the ideal candidate will need to have a clean record and be willing to undergo this process. Travel across the area may be required, and access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes would be advantageous.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave, access to NHS discount sites, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
