Job Title: SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at SNAP Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Anna, a 21-year-old young woman with complex care and medical needs.

About Anna

Anna is an exceptional individual with a love for life, laughter, and adventure. She enjoys listening to music, attending wheelchair dance classes, and spending time at her holiday home in Norfolk. Despite her complex medical needs, Anna thrives with the support of her parents and team, enabling her to reach her full potential and embrace each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Anna with all her Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Administer medication and facilitate Anna's therapy program.
  • Support Anna to access the world around her and participate in meaningful activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure Anna's needs are met and her goals are achieved.
Requirements

We are looking for a Support Worker who is creative, enthusiastic, and proactive. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing person-centered care. In return, you will benefit from excellent training, continued professional development, and a competitive salary.

Please note that this is a full-time position with a mixture of days, waking nights, and some weekends. The rota is provided a minimum of 4 weeks in advance to ensure a great work-life balance.
