Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care in Weston. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, while also contributing to the management and supervision of our residential service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors in achieving their goals and increasing independence.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to allocate shifts, book training, and induct new colleagues.
  • Contribute to the supervision and management of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring person-centered approaches.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, with a strong understanding of person-centered care and support.
  • Full UK driving license and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health conditions.
