Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Specialist to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers in the north of the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service, training, and technical support for our scientific instrumentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, and assist with parts management issues.
  • Repair, install, and calibrate instruments for optimal performance.
  • Prepare reports, logs, and documentation of service and repair activities.
  • Establish and maintain prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources.
  • Provide information to customers regarding service products and offerings.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Engineering or other science-related field preferred.
  • Proven experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation.
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting from service documents and remote support.

Competencies

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly and decisively.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.

Travel

  • A clean driving license and a valid passport will be required.
  • This is a territory-based position with traveling within your designated territory, and occasional overnight travel may be required.
