Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Waste Supervisor to join our team at Enva. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of various types of waste materials generated on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Waste Management: Sort, categorize, and properly dispose of different types of waste materials according to regulations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Operate a forklift to transport and handle large quantities of waste efficiently.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Co-ordinate with Enva waste collection services to schedule pickups and ensure timely disposal of waste materials.
  • Compliance and Safety: Monitor waste storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of waste inventory, disposal activities, and related documentation.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for waste management inquiries and issues.
  • Waste Reduction and Recycling: Assist in the development and implementation of waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling and disposing of waste materials.
  • Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with waste management regulations.
  • Reporting: Submit accurate waste reports in a timely manner for presenting to the customer.
  • Continuous Improvement: Pro-active approach on the customer's site in increasing recycling rates and communicating where required any changes / improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with the Account Managers (Hazardous & Non – Hazardous), any potential areas of concern, potentially provide suitable resolutions and implement to the satisfaction of the customer.

  • Continuous Learning: Prepared to continuously learn on how to improve the service in conjunction with the Account Managers.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills and the ability to interpret data understanding the impact of any changes and how to mitigate and evolve with any legislative changes.
