About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our Project and Change Hub at Derby City Council.


The successful candidate will support the delivery of business improvements and ensure that change programmes and projects across the Council are successfully implemented.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Providing effective change management and project advice to the Corporate Leadership Team, Programme and project boards, and SROs.
  • Working with colleagues across the Council to improve pace, break down silos, modernise, and improve how we work internally and externally.
  • Supporting Derby City Council's Programme Management Office to have effective oversight of major programme/project activity.
  • Be accountable for transparent programme and project management.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Project Management qualification or significant experience.
  • Change management qualification or significant experience.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Experience of maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including Director level.
  • Experience of implementing change management strategies and plans to support project initiatives.
