Job Title: Network Design Engineer

As a seasoned network engineer with expertise in hosted infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a global network critical to our clients' trading environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement global network architecture, ensuring security, resilience, and performance.
  • Collaborate with network architects to scope, design, and document client deployments and internal transformation projects.
  • Provide technical input into solutions design for new business requirements, including creation of technical requirements for third-party delivery partners.
  • Aid in the design and implementation of global network re-architecture, including a move to a future zero-trust model.
  • Drive secure networking and connectivity in our public cloud environment in AWS.
  • Provide level 3 support for incidents and problem resolution when deep expertise is needed.
  • Drive network automation to enable agility within our public and private cloud environments.
  • Creation, maintenance, and review of operational and technical design documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven solutions design and architecture experience for secure global hybrid cloud network implementations.
  • Proven third-line support experience in a time-sensitive, high-availability customer-facing environment.
  • Proven network support and administration experience with strong hands-on experience working with, deploying, and supporting BGP, OSPF, and IP multicast within large-scale hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Experience with designing, deploying, and running micro-segmented in hybrid environments.
  • Experience with automation tools, scripting, IaC in AWS, including Terraform.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills with familiarity with network monitoring, management, and diagnostic tools.
