Job Title: Podiatry Specialist HMP Healthcare

The Company TOTALLY is seeking a skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team as a Senior Podiatrist Offender Health Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the prison healthcare sector, providing high-quality podiatry services to patients within a secure environment.

About the Role:
This role involves assessing and treating patients with complex foot conditions, including those requiring nail surgery and biomechanics. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage a clinical caseload of patients with complex foot conditions, including those requiring nail surgery and biomechanics.
  • To maintain professional standards and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • To participate in the staff appraisal scheme and Personal Development Plan (PDP).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires:
  • A degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (SCP).
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a prison or secure setting.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
