About the Role

As a Senior Podiatrist at TOTALLY, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional podiatry care to patients within our HMP setting. Your expertise will be utilized to assess and treat patients who qualify for podiatry services, determining clinical diagnoses and recommending appropriate treatment plans. You will also maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide highly developed dexterity, coordination, and palpatory senses for assessment and manual treatment of patients.
  • To offer spontaneous and planned advice, teaching, and instruction to patients' relatives and carers to promote understanding of Premier and MSK Podiatry.
  • To communicate effectively with patients and carers to maximize rehabilitation potential and ensure understanding of their condition.
  • To assess capacity, gain valid informed consent, and work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate qualification in podiatry or a related field.
  • Evidence of relevant experience within podiatry, including advanced techniques such as nail surgery and biomechanics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
