Job Description

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Spire Leicester Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our small specialist oncology pharmacy team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exemplary pharmacy service, leading and managing our oncology pharmacy team, and delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with consultants and other clinicians to ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the oncology pharmacy team and provide guidance on clinical pharmacy practice
  • Develop and implement pharmacy services to support the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with consultants and other clinicians to ensure the safe use of medicines
  • Provide advice and support on pharmacy-related matters
  • Contribute to the development of clinical standards and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Degree in pharmacy (BSc/MSc Hons)
  • Current membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in oncology
  • Highly specialist knowledge in oncology
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
