Classroom Coordinator

BeBee Professionals is seeking a dedicated Classroom Coordinator to join our school in Weston-super-Mare, United Kingdom. This role involves managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring students remain engaged in their work.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, providing a safe and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task, maintaining discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress, supporting students with their learning when necessary.
- Assist with administrative duties as required, showcasing flexibility to work on short notice when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential, with strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Able to adapt to different classroom environments, possessing patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one is required for this position.
