About Our Client

Our client is a Primary School located in the BS48 area of North Somerset. They are committed to providing high-quality education to all their pupils, including those with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans for the pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to the pupil in the classroom, adapting lessons to meet their needs
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with the pupil, using your initiative to create engaging activities
  • Communicate regularly with the class teacher and other professionals involved in the pupil's care
  • Support the pupil in group settings, using objects to promote learning and development

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality support to the pupil

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
