Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team as a Project Controls Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of planners, driving continuous improvement, and optimizing processes within the planning function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor a Team: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the planning team.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline workflows and optimize processes within the planning function to increase efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with diverse stakeholders, effectively communicating complex or abstract ideas.
  • Project Delivery: Drive project delivery through innovative planning processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Primavera P6.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing construction budgets within cost estimate constraints.
  • Expertise in governance, schedule, and quality reporting.
  • Significant experience as a Senior Planner on major infrastructure projects/programmes, typically over £50M.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team development.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
