- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the pupil's specific needs.
- Support the pupil in their personal, social, and academic development, fostering a positive and encouraging learning experience.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and focused learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents, the SENCO, and other staff members to monitor and discuss the pupil's progress.
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate guidance and support to help the pupil grow in confidence.
- A solid understanding of special educational needs and effective strategies to support them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both students and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- The ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the pupil.
