Job Description

This role involves leading equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for major UK and international military projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading pre-installation surveys, installations, and defect rectifications.
  • Coordinating equipment fitting, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Commissioning and preparing for installation inspections, including Harbour and Sea Acceptance Trials.
  • Planning and executing both sea and land-based trials.
  • Conducting annual maintenance and health checks.
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues both domestically and internationally.
  • Preparing detailed engineering reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • HNC/HND or higher in Electronics, Electrical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience with naval systems installation, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with formal acceptance of naval systems is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and solid engineering skills.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
  • Defence industry experience is preferred.
Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
