About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to join our Westlands Inpatient team as a Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance and deliver the work being undertaken to optimize the Trust's acute pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence others to achieve outstanding care and service delivery
  • Develop and implement effective management strategies to strengthen the management of ongoing developments and delivery of care within Westlands and the wider Inpatient Service
  • Work collaboratively with the unit Clinical Effectiveness Lead to drive service improvement and excellence
  • Support the development of staff within the team, providing regular supervision and coaching
Requirements
  • Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers, and their application to clinical and service areas, including the Mental Capacity Act, Social Inclusion, and Safeguarding Children
  • Full understanding and application of relevant clinical practice, standards, and audit within the identified service area
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of positive impact and change within service delivery and practice at an advanced level
