About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled adult psychiatry specialist to join our team at Priory Hospital Roehampton. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality care for patients referred to the hospital and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide consultant-level care for general psychiatry and addiction patients coming to the hospital from referrals from the NHS and private sectors.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective care and treatment programmes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised medical qualification (e.g., MBBS or equivalent) and membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in adult psychiatry and addiction services.

Location and Working Hours

This is a part-time position working 22.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based at Priory Hospital Roehampton, located in SW15 5JJ.
