Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Tutor to join our team in Sunderland. As an Employability Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training programs that enhance individuals' skills and facilitate their transition into new careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective adult education courses that meet the needs of learners.
  • Provide support and guidance to learners to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to inform teaching and learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve the learning experience.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, and mentoring adults.
  • Expertise in lesson planning and curriculum development.
  • Skilled in evaluating student progress and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in adult education principles.
  • Experience in designing engaging learning activities.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE, CertEd).
  • At least one year of experience in delivering Level 1 and Level 2 courses in Construction, Health and Social Care, or Digital.
