Job Responsibilities:
The AV Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing technical oversight and support throughout the design and installation process
- Communicating with customers and stakeholders regarding AV requirements and budget constraints
- Designing integrated or standalone AV solutions, collaborating with project managers and other engineers as needed
- Commissioning AV equipment, including control systems and DSP configurations
- Documenting technical information for field installation
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in the Audio Visual field
- A college or technical degree, preferred
- Valid design, engineering, or installation certifications (AVIXA CTS-I or CTS-D preferred, required within a year)
- Availability for travel and willingness to work as part of a hybrid team
- Knowledge of Crestron programming and experience with AV manufacturers like Crestron, Biamp, Extron, Atlona, Sure, and Cisco
