Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Biased)
Join our client, a leading automated distribution organisation, as a Maintenance Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and contribute to the success of their UK operations.
About the Position:
- This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining complex automated systems, including conveyor belts, stacker cranes, and refrigeration units.
- You will work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to improve system efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in maintaining automated systems, including conveyors, stackers, and refrigeration units.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work in cold and freezer conditions (-22 degrees) and at heights up to 32 metres on cranes.
- 18th Edition qualified would be advantageous.
