Job Summary
Blaenavon Medical Practice is a well-established healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary team. As an autonomous healthcare professional, you will work closely with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses to provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.
Main Responsibilities
- Work autonomously to diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with illness or injury across all age groups, including young children.
- Provide face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations to patients.
- Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
- Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
Key Requirements
- Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
- Masters degree or Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation as a Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber.
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification.
