Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Blaenavon Medical Practice. As an autonomous practitioner, you will work independently to diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with various health conditions.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses to provide high-quality care to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting
- Work autonomously to diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Manage acute presentations and chronic conditions
- Order appropriate investigations and file pathology results
- See all age groups, including pregnant women, and deal with mental health presentations
- Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Masters degree or Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
- Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification
