About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our prestigious project in Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing a Programme Strategy for clients and applying your knowledge of processes and techniques to ensure the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all programmes are compliant with project requirements and develop a logical sequence of events to adopt the most economical/advantageous construction strategy.
  • Analyse performance and advise the project team on likely impact and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to the risks, opportunities, and commercial implications of a tender bid.
  • Carry out pre-contract planning and work-winning processes and procedures to produce bid programmes and associated time-related information.
  • Independently produce processes and systems to manage contracts for complex projects.
  • Carry out forensic analysis of programme data and interface with client teams to build effective relationships.
Requirements
  • Desired degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar sector-related field.
  • Modeling and 4D planning skills, as well as experience with Asta or P6.
  • Framework and structures experience, including basement programs, concrete, and piling.
  • Major project experience is ideal, but we also encourage applications from candidates who have led planning and control functions on smaller-scale projects.
  • Ability to analyse, collate, and utilise a range of data and information for reporting and forecasting.
  • Lateral thinking skills to spot trends/issues in production data.
