Career Opportunity - Corporate Accountant

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is currently recruiting a Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. As a skilled accountant with experience in financial management within the NHS environment, you will play a crucial role in supporting the division of Trust Services with their financial planning and reporting requirements.

Your responsibilities will include providing a pro-active management accounting service, preparing monthly accounts, analyzing the financial position, and providing relevant financial advice. You will also be involved in internal and external trust financial reporting, financial assessment and appraisal of service developments, and financial input into corporate projects and business cases.

We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and numeracy skills, well-developed computer literacy, and the ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines. A degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience, a professional CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification, and valid membership are also essential. Leadership and management development training and recent CPD relating to NHS finance are highly desirable.

This role offers a salary of £60,000 per annum and provides opportunities for career advancement and professional growth in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
