About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-2 years.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure that every child receives the highest standards of care, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

As a key member of our nursery, you will work closely with our room leader and Early Childhood Specialists to drive continuous improvement and embed inspirational early years pedagogy.

You will also be responsible for promoting and sharing the attributes of the Bright Horizons brand, securing our position as the provider of choice for families and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care and Education Standards: Ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and education, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Support children to manage their own feelings, promoting and following guidelines for managing behaviour.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the children you care for are fully supervised and remain safe and well, leading by example and driving the culture of Safeguarding Children.
  • Communication and Partnership: Foster strong relationships with parents, professionals, and colleagues, providing effective written and verbal communication.
  • Efficient Staff Deployment and Child Supervision: Understand and apply efficient staff deployment and child supervision practices, adhering to policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety of children and the nursery environment.
