Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Christmas Till Operator to join our team at Coventry Building Society Arena. As a key member of our concessions team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests in our in-house concessions outlets, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare hot drinks to a specialty standard, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare hot food for service, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Interact with customers, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring accurate counting and availability.
  • Ensure the concessions unit is clean and ready for service, maintaining a high level of hygiene.
  • Adhere to cash handling and profit control measures, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Take orders from guests, utilizing the till system to accurately process transactions.

Requirements:

  • Hard working, punctual, and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Well-presented, articulate, and organized, with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Confident in talking to new people, with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
  • Able to work as part of a team, with a strong ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
