Role Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Arcadis, you will play a crucial part in delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. You will work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution, and participate in the development of technical proposals. Your expertise in mechanical building services will be essential in managing technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality, and timeframe objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
• Participate in technical proposal development
• Lead reviews of project deliverables on behalf of the mechanical engineering discipline
• Manage project teams of up to 5 people

Requirements

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Previous relevant experience in a consultancy environment
• Previous experience working on Nuclear or Defence projects preferable
• Capability to provide mechanical building services expertise
• Existing BPSS clearance or the ability to pass BPSS security clearance
