Financial Accountant Role

PTW is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in the UK. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and reporting the company's financial data. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting management with financial performance to guide strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records for UK sites/Line of Business to facilitate management reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts as per local regulations.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual departments.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional Qualification: CPA/CA or equivalent (preferred).
  • Mininum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial accounting with month end-closing and book keeping experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with excellent Excel skills.
