Safety and Training Delivery Lead

Red Sky is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Safety and Training Delivery Lead. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of health and safety regulations, company policies, and best practices within our organization and with clients. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure employee compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with safety representatives to ensure site schedules are up to date and action points are delivered.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  6. Organize and deliver health and safety training to employees.
  7. Promote a positive health and safety culture through communication and engagement initiatives.
  8. Support the preparation and delivery of staff briefings and toolbox talks.
  9. Follow up and deliver against health and safety actions from inspections and audits.
  10. Manage incident near misses and observations, conducting investigations and implementing mitigation strategies.
  11. Support Operations Managers with LTI Autopsy investigations and mitigation.
  12. Identify and mitigate top safety risks by area.
  13. Conduct regular PPE and LMRA compliance inspections.
  14. Be present in the workshop environment, taking a proactive approach to safety actions.
  15. Utilize data analysis skills to inform health and safety decisions.
  16. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including the ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS18001 management system framework.
  17. Hold a valid airside pass and be willing to undertake airside driver training.
  18. Have a detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Undergraduate or equivalent qualification.
  2. Full UK driving license and willingness to undertake airside driver training.
  3. ISOH Managing Safety qualification or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
  4. NEBOSH or willingness to work towards (desirable).
  5. Professional training qualification or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
