Account Management Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Management Team Leader to join our client's finance team in Borehamwood. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of finance professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance systems, debits, and credits, as well as experience working in transactional finance. You will be a great people leader, able to bring a team together and improve output, with a solution-focused approach and a willingness to go above and beyond for the team.
Key responsibilities will include people management, mentoring, and training staff to ensure deliverables are met, building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, and working closely with IT to implement process improvements. You will also be responsible for reconciliations, managing direct debits, and month-end responsibilities.
Key experience and characteristics required include proven people management experience within transactional finance, knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control, and a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience of managing complaints and some knowledge of Financial Services or FCA regulations would be highly desirable.
