Finance Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Team Leader to join our team at Think Accountancy and Finance. As a key member of our finance division, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of finance professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:- People Management: Mentor, support, and train staff to ensure the team meets its deliverables.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solution Focused: Identify and resolve inherited problems.
- Process Improvement: Implement and improve processes to increase efficiency.
- Reconciliations: Manage and perform reconciliations.
- IT: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless system integration.
- Direct Debits: Manage direct debits and ensure timely payments.
- Month End: Oversee month-end responsibilities.
- People Management Experience: Proven experience in managing and developing transactional finance staff.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
- Reconciliation Experience: Extensive experience in reconciliation and financial analysis.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
- Complaint Management: Experience in managing complaints and resolving issues.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA regulations and financial services.
- IT Skills: Strong IT skills and experience with various systems.
