Job Title: Maintenance Person

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our nurseries and play clubs across the South-West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the health and safety of children and adults at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the Regional Maintenance Manager and Director of Facilities to ensure work is completed within budget and to a high standard.
  • Liaise with nursery managers and regional managers to ensure all premises and equipment are maintained to meet the needs of children and staff.
  • Proactively identify and report maintenance issues to the Regional Maintenance Manager or Director of Facilities.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure urgent issues are addressed promptly.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of maintenance works.
  • Full clean driving license and own transport.
  • Relevant qualification within the maintenance field desirable.
  • Clear and valid DBS.
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
