About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a quality catering service that meets the needs and expectations of our residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures, minimizing waste and using equipment efficiently.
  • Escalate any concerns or issues promptly, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Hold a Level 2 food safety certificate and have knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Have previous catering experience, with a good understanding of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Be able to work effectively in a pressured environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Be flexible and able to work as part of a team, as well as independently, to meet the needs of our residents.
