About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead our ecology sector team, driving profitable and sustainable growth while managing client relationships, staff development, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be based in the UK, with some travel and short stays away from home required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver the ecology sector business plan, ensuring staff capabilities meet client needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with sector leaders.
• Oversee bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in a full-time consultancy setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of ecologists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
