About the RoleThe Medical Assessment Unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where patients are received from the Emergency Department, GP surgeries, and specialist clinics. As a nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and gain experience from various specialties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
- Contribute to the development of the Medical Assessment Unit and its staff
- NMC registration
- Demonstrable post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
- Post-registration experience on an assessment unit
- Evidence of leadership attributes and ability to mentor and develop staff
