Job Summary

We are looking for a talented anaesthetist to work in our cardiothoracic critical care units and operating theatres. The successful candidate will have extensive basic training in anaesthesia and experience in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
  • Work in our cardiothoracic critical care units, providing care to critically ill patients
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • FRCA or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care medicine
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients and colleagues
