School Behaviour Intervention Specialist

Hello Education is a leading provider of educational services, dedicated to supporting the development of children in local schools.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team, working closely with teachers and education professionals to support students with challenging behaviour.
Job Overview
The Behaviour Support Assistant will work with students across Key Stages 1 and 2, providing general support to enable them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and staff, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Assist teachers in preparing resources and setting out learning materials and equipment for planned activities.
- Discuss learning objectives and expected outcomes with teachers to ensure effective lesson planning.
- Support children with their learning, promoting educational and social development under the guidance of the head teacher, SENCO, and class teacher.
- Monitor pupil responses to learning activities and adapt or modify activities to achieve progression towards intended outcomes.
- Assist in implementing Educational Health Care Plans and monitoring pupil progress.
- Promote social and emotional development, working closely with the class teacher to manage children's behaviour and maintain a positive working environment.
About the Role
This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent at a later date. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
