Our client, a leading Global Aviation Company, is on the lookout for an Operations Specialist to enhance their Operations / Flight Management team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to a diverse clientele across the globe.

The successful candidate will act as the main liaison for clients, ensuring that flight requests are efficiently managed and any inquiries regarding the client experience are promptly addressed. You will also provide essential support to our internal team of private aviation brokers.

The ideal applicant will have a strong customer service orientation, be driven by results, and possess a genuine enthusiasm for the aviation industry. Outstanding organizational capabilities are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. The position requires flexibility to work on-call hours outside of regular office times. Ultimately, your contributions will be vital in delivering top-notch customer service and achieving operational and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all facets of flight operations post-sale.
  • Oversee charter trip logistics, coordinating with external partners such as aircraft operators, FBOs, handling services, catering, ground transport, and other travel associates.
  • Proactively inform clients about operational challenges (e.g., weather, slots, AOGs, and permit issues) and suggest viable alternatives.
  • Arrange and monitor ancillary services requested by clients, including ground transportation and additional offerings.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and clear communication with clients regarding all flight-related matters to align expectations with reality.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to foster strong relationships and enhance client retention.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an operations capacity, ideally within the aviation sector or with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Exceptional customer service and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel and Zoho.
  • Experience in managing challenging situations while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactive, service-oriented, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, with advanced spelling and grammar skills for effective communication.
  • Ability to maintain precision, strong attention to detail, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in an aviation company is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with European aviation practices.
  • Proficiency in a European language is a plus.
