You will have the chance to work alongside talented individuals on a diverse range of projects, from consumer products and innovative transport solutions to safety-critical medical devices. Your input will make a real difference to people's lives, as you collaborate with designers, electronics, software engineers, and other skill teams to integrate visual and functional aspects of a product.

We operate in multi-functional project teams, and our mechanical engineers need to work closely with other teams to deliver world-class design solutions. You will have the opportunity to guide, support, and check the work of junior members of the engineering team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A 1st or Upper 2nd degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable university or an equivalent broad-based technical qualification.
  • Experience working in a product design or development environment, applying CAE tools and computational techniques to deliver product solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in low-volume rapid prototyping technologies and high-volume processes such as injection moulding.

We offer a competitive salary, paid overtime, 22 days holiday + extra days for long service up to 32 days, a 37-hour working week with half-day Fridays, and a substantial annual discretionary profit-related bonus. Consideration will be given to hybrid working arrangements, and we have a pension scheme and cycle-to-work scheme in place.
