Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial obligations. This position is well-suited for an individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a proven ability to solve problems and meet deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices received from suppliers efficiently and accurately.
  • Execute payment runs, ensuring approval in accordance with company policy.
  • Manage intercompany requests for payment.
  • Track and monitor outgoing payments to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organised financial records.
  • Verify expense reports for completeness and adherence to timelines.
  • Reconcile bank statements with payment records to ensure consistency.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and procedures including Accounts Payable principles.
  • Previous experience in a related role.
  • Proficient data entry skills with practical experience in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Knowledgeable in QuickBooks or other financial ledger systems.

Salary Range: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.
