The business seeks to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to assume responsibility for accounting transactions, contributing to its continued expansion and growth.

  1. Record all financial transactions using Xero software
  2. Prepare accounts for month-end reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission
  3. Complete accounts to Trial Balance, providing a comprehensive financial picture
  4. Prepare Profit & Loss reports, highlighting key business performance indicators
  5. Manage purchase and sales ledgers, streamlining financial processes
  6. Submit VAT returns, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  7. Administer VAT variances, identifying areas for cost reduction
  8. Manage credit control, ensuring efficient cash flow management
  9. Administer petty cash, maintaining accurate records
  10. Manage payroll, processing employee payments and benefits
  11. Deal with customer and supplier queries, providing excellent communication
  12. Perform other office management duties, supporting the business's operational needs

We're searching for a candidate with experience gained in a similar environment, Bookkeeping for an SME with increasing annual turnover.

Candidates may be qualified by experience or part/fully AAT, representing a great opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to the business's success.

Estimated Salary: £27,500 - £32,000 per annum
