We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Education Manager to join our team at a SEMH trust in the Wisbech area of Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, permanent position that will commence in September or as soon as possible.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will assist the Education Manager in managing the curriculum, developing the quality of teaching, and ensuring that independent school standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and supportive team and make a positive difference to the lives of children who may have been educationally overlooked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Education Manager in curriculum development and implementation
- Support the development of teaching quality and standards
- Contribute to the management of the school's curriculum and resources
- Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to achieve school goals
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher with experience in secondary education
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting
- Ability to prepare and deliver curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies
- Experience working in an SEN setting
