Waltham Forest SEND Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest, London.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to make a meaningful impact at a Good Ofsted-rated Secondary School. The school promotes high expectations and academic excellence, creating an ideal environment for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support SEND students in 1:1 and small group settings
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners
  • Collaborate with the SENDCo and Class Teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
  • A relevant First-Class Degree from a top 20 UK university
  • Genuine passion for teaching and working with SEND children
  • Dedication to growing and developing skills as a SEND Teaching Assistant

Location and Contract:

Salary:

The salary for this position ranges from £95 to £105 daily via PAYE, including holiday pay.
