We are delighted to represent a reputable independent firm of chartered accountants located in Bournemouth. Our client is renowned for providing comprehensive accounting, audit, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. They are dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with audits, including planning and field work, to ensure high-quality delivery to clients.
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties and prepare VAT returns with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare management accounts, forecasts, and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts and personal and corporation tax returns for individuals and companies.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience and studying towards ACCA or ACA is essential.
  • Practical audit and accounts experience gained from an accountancy practice is required.
  • A knowledge of various software packages is necessary for effective performance.
  • Strong communication and team working skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in direct contact with clients would be preferred but not essential.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience and background, is on offer.
