Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the cross-college tutorial provision to ensure that students receive high-quality support and guidance.
  • Work effectively with curriculum area staff, cross-college services, and external organizations to prepare students for life beyond academia.
  • Develop and implement a tutorial program that challenges learners to think critically and make a positive contribution to college life and their communities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive and inclusive education that prepares them for success in all aspects of life.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our tutorial program, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating tutorial programs or similar initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of British Values and the importance of promoting them in education.
