Job Title: Sports Coach

At GSL Education, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team in Lincoln. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering engaging sports lessons and activities to students, promoting a positive and inclusive environment, and collaborating with other staff members to achieve a holistic approach to education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate sports lessons and activities that cater to the needs and abilities of students.
  • Develop and implement fitness programs to improve students' physical health and sport-specific conditioning.
  • Organize and oversee school sports events and competitions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and sportsmanship among students, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program that aligns with the school's curriculum and goals.
Requirements:
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or experience in sports coaching.
  • Passion for sports and working with children, with a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve a shared vision and goals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with a strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
