Exciting Opportunity for Skilled Client Account Manager

A prominent organization experiencing substantial growth is seeking a skilled Client Account Manager to become part of their dynamic team. If you possess around 2 years of experience in a comparable position and have a desire to enhance your skills, this organization will offer the essential support and training.

Client Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Address client and insurer inquiries promptly, surpassing service expectations and adhering to company protocols.
  • Negotiate renewals with insurers to secure advantageous outcomes for clients, maintaining high renewal retention rates.
  • Engage in proactive management of Task Management, issuing client invoices promptly, and resolving outstanding activities.
  • Ensure timely processing of renewals and new business, actively participating in establishing finance agreements and addressing any account-related queries.
  • Support Account Executives in brokering and placing new clients, contributing to the overall success of the team.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for suitable products to existing clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service by keeping commitments, meeting deadlines, and ensuring professional communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of operational enhancements across the organization.
  • Maintain organized files for easy access by others and assist colleagues with their workload as necessary.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and industry codes of practice, including the CII Code of Ethics and the organization's procedures and rules.
  • Ensure fair treatment of clients and manage potential conflicts of interest effectively.
  • Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD), internal and external training sessions, and staying informed on technical, legal, and market developments.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in broking.
  • Familiarity with Property, Package Policies, Contractors All Risk, and Commercial Combined.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly over the phone.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Acts in compliance with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in client systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Ideally, hold a Cert CII qualification or be willing to obtain this with support from the organization.

Delegated Authorities:

  • Understand the responsibilities involved in acting on behalf of insurers and ensuring compliance with regulations and insurer agreements.
