The Hewitt Fertility Centre, a centre of excellence, offers comprehensive laboratory therapeutic and diagnostic treatments, including IMSI, PGT, cryopreservation, and donation programs.
The centre utilizes the latest time-lapse technologies in its state-of-the-art laboratories. The successful applicant should be personable, have excellent communication skills, and be experienced in all routine embryological procedures.
This role involves performing clinical workload within an Embryology laboratory setting and adhering to the HFEA Code of Practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory procedures associated with diagnostic and therapeutic treatment services provided by the Hewitt Fertility Centres, including semen analysis, sperm preparation, oocyte and embryo handling, gamete and embryo cryopreservation, ICSI, time-lapse technologies, and micromanipulation techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in life sciences (or equivalent qualification) from an EU University; alternative degrees or other qualifications may be acceptable.
- Certificate Clinical Embryology awarded by the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) and the Institute of Biology or a graduate of the Modernising Scientific Careers STP training programme.
Experience:
- Essential: Experience within the field of assisted conception and reproductive medicine.
- Desirable: Micromanipulation experience, research experience, and NHS experience.
Team Work:
- Able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
